1. How do you manage to be lower in cost than the competition?

  • We use the same quality components from European manufacturers
  • Our motors are manufactured by the largest and leading manufacturer in the world
  • Our remote control system is fully CE approved and the highest quality
  • Our overheads are low and we pass our savings to you our customer – no quibble, no compromise on quality

2. How secure is the roller garage door?

  • All doors are supplied with auto locks as standard. Once the door is closed the auto lock is activated, making it almost impossible to open it.
  • Our motors have an electromechanical brake that will stop the door from opening when it is closed.
  • As the laths are insulated, the inside and outside skin are bonded together by a very high strength foam, making the door much stronger than a non insulated version.
  • These features ensure the Insulated Roller Garage door is one of the most secure roller garage doors available.

3. What safety features does the roller garage door have?

  • Every Insulated Roller Garage Door is fitted with a state-of-the-art ‘photocell’ safety system, which uses a continual beam of light to stop and reverse the door BEFORE it hits any obstruction, at any height.

4. Does the roller garage door comply with European Legislation?

  • All our Insulated Roller Garage doors comply with current European legislation and are fully CE marked
  • As part of the safety system, a state-of-the-art ‘photocell’ safety system is supplied as standard on every automatic garage door – over and above what is required to comply with legislation.

5. How do you open the roller garage door in the event of a power failure?

  • Assuming that you have another entry/exit to the garage door, there is a manual winding handle supplied to manually wind the door up and down, this will be done from the inside of the garage so there are no security issues.
  • If there is no other entry/exit then you will need to purchase the external manual override. This is a series of rods that go from a locked box on the outside of the garage to the motor. This allows you to open the outside secure lock and wind the door up from the outside.

6. Are there any special power requirements for the electric operation?

  • No, the remote control unit is supplied with a normal 3 pin plug as standard, so will plug into a standard household socket.
  • It also has an optional built-in courtesy light that automatically turns itself on when the door opens , then off again a few minutes later

7. What is the roller garage door made from?

  • The laths are plastic coated Aluminum, filled with CFC free insulating foam
  • Side guides are heavy duty Powder Coated aluminum
  • Head plates are Powder Coated aluminum
  • Remote control system is manufactured by ANSA
  • Door components are manufactured by the leading European manufacturer

8. Are the roller garage doors weatherproof?

  • The doors have a rubber seal along the bottom of the door which will help to seal against the elements.
  • Each side guide has two brush strips that will stop draughts and leaves etc.
  • In comparison to the usual up and over door, the weatherproofing is many times better, as there are no gaps around the door
  • As the door is insulated it provides for a much better environment in the garage, which if integral to the home will make the whole house warmer

9. Do you charge for delivery?
